My Arabian Adventure

Dubai.... Where do i start... from dining in the most beautiful restaurants to walking streets filled with gold, Dubai really is a place you just have to see.

Settling in at our amazing hotel Grosvenor house, it's a great location right in the centre of everything. Our suite was absolutely gorgeous with views that went on forever and staff that would go out of there way to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Our first stop obviousllllyyy had to be Sephora! As a make-up artist it really is like Disney land for me and I always spend hours and hours making sure I have not missed out on one product and with Sephora not being available in the U.K. (why I just do not understand) I just had to get there as soon as I could.
5 hours later and happy with my purchases I left with Kat Von D's shade and light contour set and a studded kiss lipstick in Magick which literally does not move once its on the lips (very Kylie Jenner) and of course 3 different lashes by the one and only Huda beauty herself.

With the heat switched up to nearly 41 degrees by noon it was nearly impossible to catch a tan or have a stroll along the Arabian beaches. Finding something to wear in the daytime had to be one of the most stressful things ever because of the heat, so anything loose fitting was literally my best friend.
This white maxi was perfect for the beach, shopping at the mall or going for lunch, I accessorised it with a gold Grecian style headband  and a pretty ankle chain. find this outfit on www.asos.com

All gold everything ⭐️ Dubai isn't  all brand new, take the time to visit old Dubai and see the beautiful Gold souks. Even if your not looking to buy Gold it is definitely something you have to see.

Hello sailor

My favourite part of the holiday had to be my trip on the beautiful yacht along the Arabian sea. Sailing along the palm and past the Burj Al Arab, this day was just a dream.
This is great thing to do if you have a big  group of you. The boat takes 10 people which will cost you 150AED each which is around 35 British pounds.

Wearing all white to match the boat (I didn't mean to that) I teamed together a white swimsuit www.asos.com and a sheer kaftan from Zaras summer collection.

Diner is served

I was always so excited to dine in Dubai, with the food being 5* and the service being 7* i couldn't wait to hit some of Dubai's most well known places to eat. Okku which is located in the H hotel had be one of my favourites... if you ever go you have to get the truffle rice as one of your side dishes, delishhh, then once you have finished make your way to the 40th floor and chill out with a cocktail in Dubai's highest rooftop bar 40 Kong. It has such a great vibe and the manager is so sweet and gets himself involved with all his guests.

360 was also great fun, with a full circle view, your over looking the Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah beach not to mention the cute buggys that pick you up and take you to the bar (the best part for me)

Outfits

I had great fun putting different outfits together out here and wearing different make-up looks. Dubai really isn't a place where you feel need to hold back when it comes to fashion and definitely not with make-up. With many Arab women around that have such a love for winged eyeliner, contour and bright coloured lipsticks, it was only right that I jumped on the make-up bandwagon... after all it is my job :)
So here are a few looks and outfits I put together on my journey through the dessert....
Enjoy Glamfam xoxo

Jumpsuit www.saboskirt.com shoes from Zara.
I went for a Hollywood vibe with this outfit wearing a soft smokey eye in a taupe colour and a bright red lip. Powdering in areas that get most shiny as it was super humid most nights.

Dewy skin using MAC face and body with nyx fix spray to keep makeup looking fresh throughout the night. I really wanted to go for a soft bohemian style look here keeping colours soft with some cool tones and some warm tones on the eye
Lipstick is Kat Von D's studded lipstick in Magick with soar lipliner by MAC.

Get the skirt at www.asos.com and top by www.topshop.com

I went for a real Arabian feel with this look... using Golds on the eyes with an orange lip I literally packed on the colour.
Eyes- Indian wood as a base by MAC blended out with cork and Embark also by MAC.
creating drama and a real Arabic look i added a sharp flick using Bobbi Browns black ink eyeliner.
skin- MAC face and body mixed with Make-up forever HD foundation. contouring with Anastasia Beverly Hills powder Contour kit also using Anastasia Beverly Hills illuminator in Peach Necter.
Lips- Cherry liner and Lady Danger lipstick both by MAC.
Brows- Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pomade.

Until next time Dubai...... xoxo
